It’s a new decade, which makes it also about 10 years since I became interested in lolita fashion! My how time flies ~ It also means I’ve been wearing it for about 7-8 years.
Let’s take a look at my lolita ‘bubble’ now (compared to what I wrote in this post):
1. Overall, I’m mostly satisfied with my wardrobe, and therefore have not bought many main pieces over the past couple of years.
2. Despite the sweltering humid weather, I have tried to wear my wigs more so they aren’t wasted.
3. That said, wearing wigs of certain colours have also inspired me to try new hair colours too~
4. I’ve also tried to up my accessories game, though I still don’t wear as many as some others might. Namely brooches and rings. Speaking of rings, I’m really not used to them and have lost two already T.T
4. New sub-styles I’ve tried: ouji, qi and wa loli.
5. Speaking of which, my wardrobe has since sprouted a small ouji corner XD
6. New coords I am slowly building are an Anastasia inspired, and a steampunk one. I also want to do more of the coords mentioned in 4.
7. I’ve sold and swapped a couple of items I’d been on the fence about. There’s still some more to go but it’s start nonetheless!
8. Photo shoots have happened, both solo and with friends, and they were all much fun!
9. My local comm has grown and for the first time we have had brand tea parties! It was lovely to be able to mingle with the various designers in a more intimate setting as the groups have been a cosy number.
10. I am slowly collecting more tea length (calf length) dresses as I find that length suits me best.
